Manda Kay lives somewhere in the middle of Nebraska with her husband, cat, and dog. She enjoys long walks in the abyss and tacos–sometimes at the same time (it gets real messy real fast). From a young age, she was quick to love all things dark and weird. She’s a sucker for the misunderstood villain. Her taste in fiction ranges from the sound of flesh ripping away from bone to the pull in your chest when the unrequited feelings grind your heart into the gravel like a used cigarette. She thinks there is always beauty in the macabre if you’re willing to do the work to find it.
She also is terrified of spiders (ick) and of losing her teeth (no thank you) and heights (make me puke). She has a tendency to be uncomfortably aware of her own heartbeat (stop).
