The Necromancy Series is a dark gothic romance told across four novels. The story follows a promiscuous young woman and her failing marriage to the world-renowned masked magician. Three years in, and he still has not laid a single hand on her. She thinks he’s repulsed by her. The reality is so much worse.
Meet Vivian. She’s a former prostitute with a curvy body and a dirty mouth. Her favorite way to spend her time is flipping off the stone gargoyles in the manor and sneaking out to meet up with her former boss to have her needs met. She doesn’t think of it as cheating as much as problem solving. Her husband isn’t exactly interested in what she has to offer. Believe her. She’s tried. But when she’s late to her three year anniversary dinner–the only time her husband really pays any attention to her–he’s upset, and she’s stuck between being pissed at him and hating herself. It’s hard to love someone you haven’t had to opportunity to know.
Meet Vincent. He’s famous, eloquent, and is a professional at owning any stage he walks across. It could be the masks he trades out like jewelry, or the silent confidence he exhumes. The only thing he loves more than his sold out performances is his wife. He’s just not so great at showing it. It’s not from lack of caring, but she’s not the type who can be wooed with words alone. Physical affection is something that’s off-limits for him. He’s got a secret or two up his sleeve and under his gloves–namely the curse of death that comes with a single touch of his bare hands. He can’t exactly tell her that to touch her would be to kill her, or that his kiss can bring the dead back to the living; so instead, he settles on pining after her.
That is, until one night. One drunken mistake changes everything, and there is no going back.
